Who Are We

Kit and Caroline Dollard are a married couple, with a family
of 5 children - one of whom is still at home.

Caroline has worked in the field of Adult Christian Formation since 1987 in catechesis and liturgy. For the last 11 years, she and Kit have been based at Ampleforth Abbey as members of the Pastoral Team, providing retreats, courses and spiritual accompaniment for people from all walks of life, at varying times of need. Caroline has a special interest in the multi-dimensional catechesis at the heart of Christian initiation. She is a member of the RCIA National Executive, and shares responsibility for supporting the development of the adult catechumenate
in Middlesbrough Diocese. She also serves on the Bishop’s Councils for Liturgy, and Evangelisation & Adult Formation. She has a Masters Degree in Liturgy.

Caroline continues in her role as member of the RCIA National Executive
and for 2010 is the RCIA Network Covenor. From September 2007, she began
a new national role on the Bishops’ Conference Department for Christian Life
and Worship Formation Sub Committee,
preparing a syllabus/formation material
for liturgical ministers and contributing to the national conversation on liturgy
in the life of Catholics in England and Wales.

For the last eleven years, Kit has worked in Adult Formation, both spiritual and pastoral, in collaboration with the monastic hospitality team at Ampleforth Abbey.   He is a member of the Middlesbrough Diocese Bishop’s Councils for Liturgy and Evangelisation & Adult Formation. His special interests are ecclesiology, leadership and psychology, and he is a Fellow of the IPD. He has a Masters Degree in Theology & Ministry from Durham, and is co-author with Abbot Timothy Wright of “Doing Business with Benedict” published in 2002 by Continuum.

Kit is an MBTI practitioner and uses this together with FIRO - B and BIRKMAN in personal development, coaching and teamwork. He is also an on-line tutor for
the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS).

Kit & Caroline are both Members of the International Institute of Facilitation.
